The majestic welcome

I’ve seen it happen so many times—a guest pulls up to the ranch, their eyes wide as they take in the incredible views that greet them. You can’t get much closer to the Rockies than this—right here at the ranch, where the towering peaks feel like they’re just a breath away. The rugged mountain landscape stretches out before you, and it’s impossible not to be humbled by the sheer beauty of it all.

the start of the adventure

As we begin loadin’ up the pack horses, you can feel the anticipation in the air. The bags are secured, the horses are ready, and soon, we’re heading down the winding trail into the backcountry. The journey leads us to our cabins nestled deep in the Solomon Creek Wildland Park east of Jasper’s National Park, with those same magnificent mountains standing tall as your backdrop.

daily discoveries

With each day spent in the saddle, you’ll grow closer to your horse and the land. Whether it’s a 3-day, 4-day, or 6-day adventure, each trip offers a unique opportunity to explore more of this vast wilderness. The longer you stay, the more beautiful day trips you’ll experience, from the serene beauty of Paradise Ridge to the breathtakin’ views of the Canyon, or even watching the power of waterfalls cuttin’ through the mountain peaks in the distance. Every day is a new adventure, each more awe-inspiring than the last.

Evenings are a quiet reward after a day on the trail. You’ll find yourself relaxing on the back porch of our cookhouse, enjoying a hearty meal and the stillness of the backcountry. The horses graze contentedly outside your cabin door as the sun sets behind the peaks.

a journey to remember

This is more than just a trip—it’s a journey into the heart of the Rockies. And whether you’re here for three days or six, you’ll leave with a deeper connection to the land, the horses, and the wilderness that makes this place so unforgettable.

See you on the trail,
Tom
